Natural Slate

Natural Slate has been used in this country for centuries and continues to have huge appeal today. We source Slate from all over the world, as each one has its own characteristics. Traditionally in the UK our Slate is quarried from Wales for its exquisite colour and texture however many quarries are now exhausted, and the remaining quarries still use traditional quarrying methods which makes this product quite expensive. In addition to this we bring in slate from both Brazil and India which again have quite different qualities from the Welsh and again from each other.
